20 years of experience

Unable to find a suitable candidate from the local labour market? Recruiting from overseas may be the solution. While the thought of dealing with bureaucracy may seem intimidating, it is what we do! We offer a ‘no pain – all gain’ method of engaging the people with the skills you need.

It starts with us knowing what overseas candidates offer and how they can fulfil your recruitment needs. It is knowledge that comes from over 20 years of international marketing, recruitment, and migration experience including:

Recruitment of workers on the:

  • Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (494)
  • Skills in Demand visa (482)

Recruitment of recent graduates on the:

  • Training visa (407)

Our focus has always been on servicing regional employers and finding solutions to best suit their needs whether it be an employer sponsored work visa, a Designated Area Migration Agreement or the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Scheme.

Designated Area Migration Agreements (DAMAs)

DAMAs are designed for employers in regional areas who face challenges in recruiting skilled and semi-skilled employees. By entering into a DAMA with the Australian Government, employers can sponsor individuals in a range of occupations that are not available for sponsorship under the subclass 482 and 494 visas.

Occupations vary by DAMA and regional needs. Examples of occupations that may be sponsored include Handyman, Waiter, Deckhand, Receptionist, Retail Supervisor, Aged Care Worker, and Truck Driver. These occupations are not available for sponsorship under standard visa sponsorship pathways.

DAMAs may offer eligible employers and visa applicants’ concessions, including a 10% concession to the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT), as well as concessions for English language requirements, work experience, and age.

Currently, the following regions have signed DAMA agreements with the Department of Home Affairs:

  • Adelaide City Technology and Innovation Advancement, SA
  • Kimberley, WA
  • Far North Queensland, QLD
  • Goulburn Valley, VIC
  • Great South Coast, VIC
  • Northern Territory, NT
  • Orana, NSW
  • Pilbara, WA
  • South Australia Regional, SA
  • South West, WA
  • The Goldfields, WA
  • Townsville, QLD
  • Western Australia WA

The Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Scheme

The Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Scheme is a program designed to facilitate the temporary migration of lower and semi-skilled workers from Pacific Island countries and Timor-Leste to work in various sectors in regional Australia. The program aims to address labour shortages in certain sectors in Australia while providing economic benefits to the participating countries through remittances and improved skills and experience for their workers.

Under the PALM Scheme, workers from participating countries can come to Australia and work for up to four years in industries such as agriculture, tourism and hospitality, and aged care. The workers are employed by Australian businesses and are granted visas specifically for this purpose. The program is managed by the Australian government in partnership with participating Pacific Island countries and Timor-Leste.

The program has a number of benefits for all parties involved. For Australia, the program helps to address labour shortages in key sectors and provides businesses with access to a reliable workforce. For participating countries, the program provides employment opportunities for their citizens and promotes economic development.

Our office can assist employers with lodging an application to be an Approved Employer for PALM Scheme and sourcing suitable candidates.
