20 years of experience
Unable to find a suitable candidate from the local labour market? Recruiting from overseas may be the solution. While the thought of dealing with bureaucracy may seem intimidating, it is what we do! We offer a ‘no pain – all gain’ method of engaging the people with the skills you need.
It starts with us knowing what overseas candidates offer and how they can fulfil your recruitment needs. It is knowledge that comes from over 20 years of international marketing, recruitment, and migration experience including:
Recruitment of workers on the:
- Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (494)
- Skills in Demand visa (482)
Recruitment of recent graduates on the:
- Training visa (407)
Our focus has always been on servicing regional employers and finding solutions to best suit their needs whether it be an employer sponsored work visa, a Designated Area Migration Agreement or the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Scheme.
Designated Area Migration Agreements (DAMAs)
DAMAs are designed for employers in regional areas who face challenges in recruiting skilled and semi-skilled employees. By entering into a DAMA with the Australian Government, employers can sponsor individuals in a range of occupations that are not available for sponsorship under the subclass 482 and 494 visas.
Occupations vary by DAMA and regional needs. Examples of occupations that may be sponsored include Handyman, Waiter, Deckhand, Receptionist, Retail Supervisor, Aged Care Worker, and Truck Driver. These occupations are not available for sponsorship under standard visa sponsorship pathways.
DAMAs may offer eligible employers and visa applicants’ concessions, including a 10% concession to the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT), as well as concessions for English language requirements, work experience, and age.
Currently, the following regions have signed DAMA agreements with the Department of Home Affairs:
- Adelaide City Technology and Innovation Advancement, SA
- Kimberley, WA
- Far North Queensland, QLD
- Goulburn Valley, VIC
- Great South Coast, VIC
- Northern Territory, NT
